It is very hard to believe that I became a mom 3 years ago. It doesn't seem like it has been that long. It seems to be going by too quickly! The saying "time flies when you are having fun" has never been more true! You make everything about my life better. You are the firecracker in our family You are full of fire and fun! You are a drama queen, and so emotional. You do not hide your feelings or your thoughts. You are so vocal and a very passionate little girl. You are full of love and stand up for what you care about. You have some cute quirks about you (you can thank me for most of these later). You like to organize things and are a creature of habit. You prefer routine and order and do not like change. If one thing goes wrong during our "normal" routines you feels like your world is falling apart (sorry baby, I can't blame your dad for these things). Thankfully, you are now becoming more rational and able to understand that sometimes things can't and won't always happen the way you want them to. Your verbal skills remain incredible. You amaze me (and everyone) with your vocabulary and your comprehension. You use excellent manners and are thoughtful of others. Your memory is fascinating. You have memorized books, movies and you can remember things that happened last year. You always remember peoples names and something about them. You are so smart beyond three years! You know all of your letters, each sound they make and you can name words that start with each letter. You can do a perfect somersault, and you are improving your jump roping skills. You still love firetrucks and trash trucks. You don't like band aides (unless they are on someone else). You are a complete and total girly girl. You love pink, purple and all princesses. You love to wear dresses and like to change clothes all day long. You are able to dress yourself and put on your own shoes. You no longer need pull-ups at night! You do all your business in the toilet and have no accidents (even during your 13 hour nights!). From listening to other potty training parents I think you may be the easiest kid to potty train. I think you might have had 3 or 4 accidents total, and never a #2. You don't wear me out asking to go to the bathroom either. You can hold it for hours and hours and you never ask to go unless you really have to. So easy! (Please teach your little sister everything you know about potty training!) You prefer to wear your hair down all the time. You don't like when I push it behind your ear. You get horrible rats nest in the back of your head when you sleep and we battle over combing it out. You call yourself "Ry Pie". You absolutely adore your Mamaw and Pa and ask to go to their house or call them daily. You also get to see them almost every day! So cool! You still love "chocky" and blueberry brown toast before bed. You like your IPod player to be purple, your IPod playing and your door open when you go to bed. You are a great big sister to Emma. You let her play in your room and you share your favorite toys with her. You can be extremely stubborn and can be quite sassy. Although frustrating at times, I love your strong will and I know that it will serve you well when you are older. I love every single thing about you and I cherish every moment watching your grow. I LOVE that I get to spend so much time at home with you and your sister and that your Daddy does too. We are a very lucky family. Thanks for being you and bringing so much joy to our family. I am so very honored that I am the lucky person that you call Mommy. Love you to the moon and back!
