Quarantine 2020: Week 2

I got furloughed Monday, April 22.  At first I didn't know what to think, but after talking to my dad I felt a lot better.  I was relieved to be safe at home with the girls and to not need to ask my parents to watch them while I work. We officially began our Stay At Home orders this week, and non-essential businesses were closed and non-essential employees asked to work from home or furloughed/laid off. I was glad to be furloughed! At this point, the kids have been out of school for two weeks.  One week for Spring Break and then one week of quarantine.  Thankfully, AISD put NO PRESSURE on the kids or parents and declared the first 2 weeks of quarantine to be Phase One and all that was to be done was to meet physical and social needs.  No academic requirements.  So smart!  This was a big change and the district needed time to adjust plans for possible on-line learning and the families needed time to adjust to all of these HUGE changes to our lives.  Here are pics from our second week of Quarantine.  This week, I was home around the clock!

Lots of driveway workouts!

Lots of fire pit smores.
