Halloween 2018

We love Halloween!  Dressing up is so fun and I loved each girls unique costume ideas this year. Ryan wanted to be Bloody Mary, Emma wanted to be Harley Quinn and Polly wanted to be a unicorn.

Fright Fest 2018

Since we have season passes to Six Flags this year we took full advantage of them and took the kids to Fright Fest.  It was my first time too! We had a good time and got scared! We didn't do any of the haunted houses (you couldn't pay me!), but they had plenty of scary folks walking around to get our fair share of screams in. Polly got a little spooked but for the most part she was pretty brave.  The kids got to ride a bunch of rides and we were in and out in 2.5 hours.

Odyssey of the Mind

Ryan was asked to join a new Odyssey of the Mind team this year and she has really been enjoying the weekly meetings and beginning of the problem solving.  We hosted a meeting and had an expert carpenter come discuss how to build with different materials.

Story Book Character Day 2018, Donuts with Dad and BETO!

The big girls decided weeks before who they wanted to be for Hill's Storybook Character Day.  Emma wanted to be Fancy Nancy and Ryan wanted to be Charlotte's Web. They designed and put together their own costumes (with a little help from Mamaw!).  They looked great!
