Last Day of School!

Polly Goes to Uncle Bill's Camp at Camp Thurman

Polly had a great week at Uncle Bills week at Camp Thurman. She was so excited to go to the camp that Sissy and Emma always go to. Uncle Bill's week is only for 4 and 5 year olds so it was perfect for her. She didn't know a soul but was brave and excited. Her counselor was Grande and Polly loved her. She was sad when the week was over.

End of School Awards for 2nd and 4th

That's a wrap! This school year flew by! Ryan and Emma both did outstanding in 4th and 2nd grade. Both girls earned a lot of awards including honor roll, student council, running club and many more. Emma was most proud of her recognition as being the fastest girl (almost fastest kid, she lost to Angel by 1 second in the turkey trot) with her 8:20 time on the mile turkey trot. Ryan got most improved in P.E. and Emma got the Caldecott award. We are proud of all their hard work and so ready for summer. Here are some pictures from their awards ceremonies.

Memorial Day and Grandpa's Birthday Party!

We celebrated Grandpa's 68th birthday and Memorial Day at the pool. Everyone was brave enough to get in except me! The kids had fun swimming with and celebrating Grandpa.

2nd Place in The Dallas Open

Emma and her team took second place in the Dallas Open. Emma had an incredible weekend of soccer and was an excellent captain. She scored in every game and shut it down on defense. We played a phenomenal team in the championship and came up short. Emma loves tournaments and I love watching her play. We have another one in two weeks.
