We have all been so sad since losing Murph, but no one has been sadder than Maggie. She misses her buddy. They had a lot of fun together and she kept him young. We knew we needed to get her a playmate, so when we came across Clark we jumped on him! He was rescued from a kill shelter right before being euthanized. His foster mom brought him over to meet Maggie before we went to Disney and although Maggie was a little stand-offish it seemed like it might work out. Since Murph died Maggie has become very protective and territorial so introducing a new dog was tricky. We all loved him and had a good feeling that it would work out so we agreed to get him when we got home from our trip. It took about 3 days before Maggie quit growling at him and he had to learn to not mess with her food bowl. They have a lot of fun together in the back yard and he acts a lot like a puppy. Maggie has a new friend and we are so happy to have him!
