Emma's first game as USA!

We changed our team name to America this year and our team is playing up with the 6/7 year olds. So, we are the youngest team this season. Emma was excited to be back on the field.

Mrs. Hoelscher had braided her hair at school.

Pollyanna Jane Video ~ her first year

I finally got around to putting some of Polly's first year of pictures to music for her one year video. It was bittersweet because it is the last 'first' year video I will make. Sweet Emma got emotional with me watching it.  It's long, the song actually repeats twice. I just couldn't crop it any shorter.

17 months

Says "Mom-meee!"- no more "na-na" when she wants me
Can show you her nose when you ask where Polly's nose is.
Can show you her belly button when you ask where Polly's "beebo" is.
Can show you her tongue when you ask where Polly's tongue is.
Gives high fives.
Kisses on command.
Has hair long enough for pig tails
Runs
8 teeth
Still having 4 bottles a day! (Ryan and Emma never had bottles after turning one! Mom fail! I have made a promise that by 18 months we will be bottle free).
She still sleeps like a champ: 13-14 hours at night and two 1.5-2 hour naps a day.
She loves tomatoes.
She still loves to snuggle and be held.
She can destroy a room in less than 2 minutes, Big girls have to remember to shut their bedroom doors or suffer the consequences!
She still takes an ex-lax a day and it seems to really do the trick.  Overall she is a very healthy girl, never sick.
She is so much fun!

Soccer and Cheer!

Emma's fall soccer season and Ryan's first cheer season have both started.  We have had a few practices and their first games are coming up.  They both each love what they are doing so it is fun to watch them.

We will miss Alaina!

Alaina moved to New York City today and I will miss her tremendously.  For the past year she has been a friend, a co-worker, running buddy, gym buddy and so much more.  She loves Chris and the girls and they love her. We are happy for her next adventure but sad she won't be a part of our daily life like she has been the past year.  I know we will be visiting her in NYC soon!

The sweetest post she made on Instagram.

Corey and I won't know what to do without her at work.
She is like a little sister to both of us.

She took the girls to Creative Hands to make one last memory with them.

They love her!
She is the best!

"Muscles are pretty"

That is what Emma says and that is what I want my girls to think!  Being healthy and strong is important!  Alaina has been whooping my butt 2-3 days a week at our 5 a.m. gym sessions. It has been so fun to work on getting stronger and making muscles.  I sure will miss my gym buddy when she moves.
