First Road Trip

We did it! We hit the road with Ryan to visit friends in Houston. We already knew that we have an amazingly well-behaved baby, but we weren't sure how she would tolerate 4 hours in her car seat. Well, she was such a trooper! She barely fussed at all on the way there (she just wanted Mommy to climb in back with her), and on the way home she didn't make a peep. This past weekend was also her first night away from home, and her crib (besides Mamaw and Grandpa's and her crib there!) We set up the Pack-N-Play in the room with us, and Ryan and I slept great- Chris said her noises woke him up. I guess I am just used to them since the monitor is next to me at home.

It was so great to visit two of my great friends. We stayed one night with CiCi and Corey and their son Chase. We stayed the second night with Roxie and her two daughters- Mia and Avery.(Kurt, Rox's husband was in Singapore). All of the kids were so sweet to Ryan. She loved all of the attention! We had a great time and plan to visit other friends and family soon!

Earlier last week....

As you can see from the pictures above, Ryan got to spend some good time with her Gran, Aunt Meredith and cousin Eliana! It is such a blessing to have all of our family live so close! Ryan is surrounded by people that love her.
