We had a fun-filled weekend that went by too fast, as usual! We took Ryan to Bowie's 2 year old birthday party. It was circus themed and there were a ton of kids there. Ryan was the youngest of the toddlers and started out a little timid. I couldn't blame her though. When we got there it was a little overwhelming, even to me! Because of the rain that day the circus was moved inside it truly was a 3 ring circus! She wanted to stay close to her mom for the first half, but once she had a chance to check everything out she played and had a good time.
Timid Ryan hanging back with me checking everything out
Starting to warm up- but still needing the paci
Bowie (Boo Boo) the big birthday boy!
Ryan having a good time admiring some of Bowie's new gifts
On Sunday I got to have lunch with my good friend Rebecca while Ryan took a nap at Mamaw and Grandpa's (Chris was at work). Then, Ryan and Mawaw and I took a walk to the park. On our way we admired some of the Halloween decorations in the neighborhood.
Ryan with "Mother" on Mamaw's front porch- she wasn't too interested this day
Ryan waved at the scarecrow from her stroller but was a little unsure when I plopped her on his lap
YAY for sidewalk chalk! Ryan colored a little and also tried to eat it.
The playground is so much fun now- Ryan runs all over the place!
She can climb anything!
Such a big girl! Every now and then she will wait up for one of us!
Contemplating the big girl slide (the tallest and twistiest one!)
She went for it- and loved it!
Baby Ivie #2 and me working on the blog
Next week, along with a Halloween post, I will post Ryan's 15 month stats and Baby Ivie #2 update- we see the doctor and get a sonogram Monday. Happy Halloween!
