Poor Bunny is looking very rough these days. He is no longer pink, even right out of the dryer. He also permanently smells a certain way (just the way Ryan likes him!). He has been to surgery a handful of times to reinforce ears and small holes. We are about to prepare for transplant surgery. Minimal at first, but eventually will probably be a full blown complete body transplant. The other identical "replacement" bunny (well, used to be identical, this one is still pink and fluffy) will soon become a donor for Bunny. Ryan will never be fooled by the other bunny, so we might as well harvest him to keep Bunny alive. He has held on strong for almost three years and I see many more years in his future. I am also very proud that we have yet to lose this little guy. He is a part of our family! Zeebee and Bunny complete us!
Ryan's VERY loved bunny 3 years old |
The only thing still pink on him is the lettering of her name! |
Ryan rubs his ears for comfort and sticks them up to her nose to smell at night. Needless to say, they have worn quickly. Mamaw and Aunt Rocks have patched and reinforced them multiple times. |
This part also rips often. |
Looking through random pictures it is hard to find one without Bunny in it! |
Ryan can only sleep if she has her flower blanket and Bunny. :) |
