Ryan is extremely dramatic and very into movies. She has an incredible memory and likes to act out movie lines and scenes. Here are a few of her current movie lines used most often.
"Do you think I'm odd?" - something that Belle says to her father in Beauty and the Beast. Ryan asks us this all of the time "Daddy, do you think I'm odd?"
"Leave me alone"- Ariel says this in Little Mermaid. My least favorite of her favorite quotes.
"I'm gonna run away." Another Ariel line, and my second least favorite.
"What's the matter grumpy gills" - A line from Dori in Finding Nemo. Ryan does the same funny voice!
"Just keep swimming, just keep swimming." Another Dori line.
"Are you coming blondie?" Flinn Ryder says this to Tangled.
Along with the numerous quotes Ryan also likes to act out movie scenes. For instance, she likes to have us pretend to rip off her beads and sash like Cinderella's mean stepsisters did so she can run and fling herself on the bed and pretend cry. She likes to hit Daddy over the head with one of her frying pans just like Tangled does to Flynn Ryder. She likes to put her "tutu" and "glass slippers" on to perform any of the dance scenes in Cinderella, Belle or Tangled. The Tangled dance scenes also require a braid in her hair. Her "silky" dress is her Tangled dress and her blue flower dress (that she wears every day right now) is her Cinderella dress. Her favorite pink shoes are her "glass slippers" AKA "Minnie shoes". She loves to pretend to be under the sea in our big bed. She holds her "breath up" and goes under the sheets. She usually requests that all family members join her under the sea. Emma loves this re-enactment.
Needless to say there is all kinds of "drama" at our house. Pa thinks she may be a famous actress someday. I think she is going to be a very drama filled teenager. She is definitely one of a kind and super smart! AND already very full of drama!
