"No" also means "yes" to Emma when she hears one of us say it. She is nearing two and really starting to test boundaries. I have to really force myself to not laugh because she really cracks me up. (I know it won't when she is in the midst of the full fledged two's defiance in public!). She is a lot more physical than Ryan and if we decide to not have another child she will be our tom boy for sure. She climbs everything (including the coffee table as seen above), she jumps off everything (with or without someone to catch her), she tears off into the street, she pushes and pulls Ryan's hair, she loves toy cars and balls and trains (she makes the cutest train sound, it's a low "mmmm, mmmm" sound),she is always bruised and always has skinned knees, she falls a lot and hardly ever cries. I was told today by her Sunday School teacher that Emma is the most outgoing and bravest child in the class. She is always first down the slide and never scared to try something new. She also towers over all the kids in her class, even though she is younger. Look out world!
Although she seems to be all boy (including her hairstyle which is now somewhat of a mullet), she also has a girly side. She loves to get dressed. She is still a fan of layering her clothes. She, like her sister, likes skirts but she also likes pants and shorts. She LOVES shoes and all accessories, especially hats and sunglasses. She doesn't quite have enough hair to get a bow or clip in, but if she did I think she would love it.
I am so crazy in love with this kid. I love her personality, her spunk, her determination and her sweet pea face. What joy she brings to our family!
She recently went to the doctor with a sinus infection. Here are the latest stats of our big, littlest girl!
Weight: 24.12 lbs, 30% percentile
Height: 35 inches! 100% percentile!!!
Head circumference: 47 cm, 95% percentile
