We always knew that Emma would be the first to go to ER. We were right. She brought her roller coaster car inside and tried "car surfing" on it. The car shot backwards and Emma went chin first onto the hardwoods. I was at work, so when Chris realized she needed stitches he called Grandpa to come stay with Ryan. Chris took Emma to Cookes Children's Hospital (where he used to work). Since Chris knows people he got to go straight back with Emma. VIP treatment, no wait! She ended up with 2 stitches and was a champ while getting them. Chris said she didn't even cry. She is our bruiser! I hope these are the only stitches she ever has to get.

Because she got the stitches it shouldn't be too much of a scar.

Chris said she was an absolute doll at the hospital and
was proud to show off her "boo boo" to all her daddy's friends. |
