AR

It stands for Accelerated Reading, and our Ryan is a member!  Her reading skills have taken off over the past few months.  She is reading everything and qualified to be moved up to the AR group last month.  Now that she is in AR she brings challenging books home, reads them at night to us and then takes tests over comprehension on the computer at school.  She has been scoring 100's and earning points.  We found out last week she had earned enough points that she made the 'AR board' in her classroom and she was the second child to do so.  We are so proud of her. She is the second youngest in her class and one of the strongest readers.  Way to go, Ryan!
