NYE 2016!!!!

Chris and I went to a fireman's wedding but made it home by 9:30 p.m. We rang in the New Year in our pajamas with our big girls and our New York girls.  We made it until 12:00 New York time, 11:00 our time.  So we saw the ball dropped and then hit the sack!

2016 was a good one, looking forward to 2017!

Surprise Party for Chris!

Since Chris turned the big 4-0 this year I decided to throw him a big surprise party.  I rented out Legal Draft Brewery and 100 friends and family members helped me surprise him and celebrate his birthday.  I also rented a taco truck and had a slide show made of Chris' first 40 years. He had absolutely no idea and really thought that I had dropped the ball on his birthday!  It was so fun to surprise him and the party was so fun!

On Chirs' birthday the girls presented him with the gifts they picked out for him.  Mamaw had "hired" them to help rake leaves and then she took them to the dollar store to spend the money they earned on gifts for their dad. :)

Emma picked out an Island calendar, a "cheers!' wine glass, a frame, a small puzzle and some crazy straws.
Ryan picked out a birthday wine glass, 2 blue pens, a frame and some sour skittles.
They were VERY excited for him to open the gifts they picked out.

Christmas with the Ivies 2016

We got to celebrate Christmas with he Ivie side a few days after Christmas.  It was great to spend time with Gramma, Papa, Uncle Zach and Aunt Bethany.  I did a very poor job of taking pictures, but we had a ton of fun. Peg got a few pictures, thank goodness.

Christmas Day 2016

What a wonderful Christmas Day we had! The girls must have been good because Santa got them all that they asked for. We had a jam packed day and got to spend time with Mamaw, Pa, Gran, PawPaw and Eliana.  It was a lot of fun and we loved being at home all day.

Chris made Mom and Dad a custom Texas Tech corn hole game.  We had a lot of fun breaking it in!

Gran, Eliana and PawPaw came over for lunch and to spend the afternoon.  We had fun!

It was 80 degrees, so we took the boat out and had a blast!
