Ryan had her first school performance this week! A P.E. Performance! We were not sure what to expect, but we knew it would be cute (and funny!). We had no idea how Ryan would do in front of an audience, or if she would even participate when she saw us in the crowd. We always wonder what she is like at school. Is she quiet, does she listen well, is she a leader or a follower? Chris and I always say that we wish we could be a fly on the wall and watch her in action at school. Well, today we kind of got to! Even though she spotted us pretty quickly in the audience, we still got to observe her with her classmates and teachers. And, she knocked our socks off with her performance. Grandpa said it best when he said "she is the obvious leader"! And, she sure was! They did a song and dance to a song about a teddy bear. They acted out a bunch of activities (combing hair, laying down to sleep....). She had a huge smile on her face and performed like a kindergartner. She didn't miss a beat. I think we owe a lot to the library story time she goes to on Tuesdays. She has been doing songs and dances like this for years! She is an old pro! It was precious! Unfortunately, I came straight from the gym and failed to bring the camera. Thank goodness for IPhones! The video that Chris took on his IPhone is too large to email and upload, so I am unable to share it on here. I will be better prepared next time. I am pretty sure we will have many more of these performances!
Mamaw and Pa anxiously awaiting :-)
Pea wishing she could get down and perform!
No stage fright from this girl! She was thrilled to perform.
Blurry, but you can still see how cute Munch is!
