Poor Mamaw!

Mamaw fell off her bike on one of her Biker Chick outings and broke her arm! Thankfully, she was able to get to my hospital and we were able to get her examined and comfortable quickly.  Although she has a comminuted humeral head fracture, since it is not displaced, it should heal on it's own.  We go back for x-rays to make sure it is healing in a few weeks.  Until then, she will be in a sling and sleeping upright.  Poor Mamaw!  Broke her first bone at 63- that is a pretty good track record!

Polly came along to see the orthopedic surgeon.
