Gym with Laina!

Alaina has been whooping my butt at the gym!  It has been fun to lift weights with her.  She gets me super sweaty and so sore!

GI Specialist

Our sweet PJ survived a week of rotavirus hell (as did we, barely), but we still had to keep our GI appointment for her on-going tummy issues, unrelated to rota. Little Toot did well at the appointment and we now have a term for her issue.  Polly is a "withholder" and when she goes stiff she is not trying to push her poop out, but hold it in. This is rare in babies this young, so there is still a chance that she may have something more serious going on (celiac disease) but Dr. Patel wants to wait 6 months and see if we can fix the withholding problem, and make pooping not so traumatic for her and us! So, the plan is an ADULT ex-lax every day at noon. I still cannot believe we are giving this 20 pound baby an adult laxative,,,,,,but we are.  Trusting the specialist on this one!

14 months of PJ!

I realized today I never did a 14 month update on our PJ.  So, here is a short and sweet late post (she is almost 14.5 months, but this is still accurate).

5 teeth!!!
Not walking - still just pushing toys around, no steps on her own but can stand up all by herself.
Not really talking, still just blabbering.  She says dada, nana, and uh oh- that is about it!
Loves the pool
Adores her sisters
Prefers to be held (by me)
21 pounds (down 2 post 1 week of rotavirus misery)

Fathers Day 2016

Happy Fathers Day to Chris!  You really are the best daddy these three girls could have.  We are so lucky to have you and all that you do for us.

Date Night with Mom and Dad

We got to go on a fun double date with Mom and Dad to Mike's wedding.  Carol kept PJ and the big girls had a date with Aunt Rocks.  It was so fun to have a kid free evening with my parents.  We danced and laughed a lot.
My handsome date.

My favorite people!
Loved watching my parents dance. Mom was in heaven.

The big girls were ready to party when we got home!

First Pigtails for PJ

Emma wanted Polly to have pigtails so we gave her some!  A friend of mine had the perfect name for them- Shrek ears!  LOL!
Holding both of her sisters toothbrushes.
She got her second top tooth in,
so now she can brush them both simultaneously!

Night 6 of 7

Chris is gone for 8 days, 7 nights at Burn Camp, not that anyone is counting!  I am barely making it!  Polly had me up one night almost the entire night (trying to cut a top tooth I am convinced). I didn't want the big girls to suffer from my lack of sleep so I kept my end of the deal and took them to the outdoor movie at the Levitt Pavilion.  We met the Elizondos and the Blackburns so the kids had a blast with their friends, and I managed to stay awake! I have worked a lot this week while Chris is gone so Gran and Mamaw have saved the day and taken great care of the girls.  We can't wait to see Chris on Friday!
