39!

Last year in my 30's- I can't believe it. It has been a great decade and I don't expect anything less for the final year.  I got celebrated and spoiled more than once and loved every second of it. I have the best friends.  I got taken to dinner at Piranhas buy one group of friends, then to Prespas by another. I was surprised at CG with Starbucks and my work family took me to lunch too.  All of that along with gifts from my family.  It was great!

Amber and I have birthdays a few days apart.

Beautifully decorated table!

Lakers Win in OT!

Emma's b-ball team won their last two games and got 3rd place for the season!  I am so rpoud of this team.  They are one of the youngest and smallest teams and they played so hard.  The last game went into  OT and we won by one point!!!! The never gave up!

Mrs. Longoria, the Hill principal, and her husband came to cheer!

Odyssey of the Mind

A group of Ryan's friends invited her to participate in the Odyssey of the Mind competition. She didn't really know what she was getting into, but she wanted to do it.  Her team of seven had a problem to solve and came up with a very creative way to accomplish their goal.  They met once a week for 45 min to an hour and somehow got it all done and put together.  I was worried, but they surprised the heck out of all of us and did amazing!  Everyone was surprised by how Ryan came out of her shell.  They all did so well and felt very proud of their work.  Ryan had the job of creating a piece of Leonardo's artwork by using materials not intended for art.  She did a fantastic job and her artwork received some of the highest scores for the team.
I snapped a quick picture of the parents
before I left to head to Emma's basketball game.

The kids were nervous as they waited to go on.

Ryan and Finn were the announcers.

You can kind of see Ryan's masterpiece in the back.

Lieutenant's Test

Chris studied hard for 3 months to take the Lieutenant's test and we were so proud of him!  He did well and is #5 to promote off the list so we are hoping for the best.  The girls were glad to get their daddy back because he has been focusing all his free time to studying.

He surprised them each with a gift!

We enjoyed lunch out and a beer to celebrate.

VD 2019

Or is it Halloween???  Polly wore a cat costume (size 12-18 months) all day.  She even napped in it and wore it to soccer.

She took some selfies too.

Ryan was excited that she got a pair of Vans
for Valentines that she has been begging for.

Levi is Loved

He has a great life.  Ryan loves him and he loves her.  They sleep together every night.

Valentines Party

Polly signed her own name on all of her Valentines for her
classmates.  The 'y' gave her some trouble, but she
had it down on the last few.

She was thrilled to have her daddy at her class party.
