7 Year Letters to Emma

My Sweet Pea, Emma Reese,

Seven years of magic and joy.  That is you! You really are the sunshine in our day.  You remain fearless, kind and funny to your core.  You make me laugh every day and love to be the center of attention! You are so loving to both of your sisters, in just the way that they each need it. You still love to snuggle and be near me, yet you also want to be so grown up and experiment with make up and fashion.  You are so athletic and competitive and we love to watch you play sports. You are a natural leader and always the life of the party. Which is fun and scary at the same time. You are so smart and are way ahead of the game at school. Your teacher says you are so smart and so kind and that "everyone wants to be friends with Emma".  I don't blame them, I do too. Love you so much, big girl.  Being your mom is the best! Keep growing and having fun and making us proud!

Love,
Mommy

Emma Reese,

Happy 7th Birthday!!!!! Seven years has literally flown by. I cannot believe it! You are such an awesome daughter. I love your caring, sweet attitude towards your sisters. I love your weird quircks with bananas, baby cups, metal silverware, etc. I love your ability to try new things. I love your goofy, care-free nature. I love your unique sense of fashion. I love your witty sense of humor. But most of all, I love that I’m your Daddy! I wouldn’t trade it for the world. You make me so proud every day and I can't imagine my life without you!!! Happy Birthday kiddo, I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you.

Love,

Dad

Emma is 7!

Love her to pieces!
She got a hover board for her birthday,
hoping she stays in one piece!

Emma's 7th Birthday Slumber Party

Emma decided months ago that she wanted to have a slumber party for her 7th birthday.  She wanted to do hair, make up, karaoke, dancing and a photo booth.  And, no surprise to anyone, her guest list was long!  So, we did it all, and had 12 girls over for one of the loudest nights of my life!  So. Much. Screaming! Emma had so much fun and I am finally caught up on sleep. It was worth it, and we can check that box.  I may consider letting her do that again in 10 years. I found out after the fact that you should never let them invite more kids to spend the night than the age they are turning. Whoops! Oh well, Emma has a ton of friends and wanted them all there.  THankfully, her group of friends is very sweet and they actually were all asleep by 1 a.m. (and up by 6:45). She is a party girl!

This is EMMA!

Chris and I made the frame!

Aunt Rocks provided the "make up"

My face says it all!  This is 10 min into the scream fest.

Dance party!

So many splits!

Beth came over and did all of their hair!

The nail tech was thrilled!

I was so thankful for his help!
He is a good sport- and totally killing it at the girl dad role!

Emma took over my job as the make-up artist and did Ryan's make up.

Ryan never wants to wear makeup, Emma always does.

She is so pretty.

Ryan had begged to spend the night with a friend,
but ended up having fun with Emma's crew.

Karaoke!

Donuts dropped off by Aunt Rocks,
and PICK UP TIME!
