Up On the Rooftop

We always put up our Christmas decorations and lights the weekend after Thanksgiving so we spent all day Sunday doing just that.  Ryan helped me a lot on the tree and Emma was outside with her dad.  While Ryan and I were putting on the ornaments (Polly was napping) we heard a tapping on the roof.  I looked up through the sky light and there was Emma!  Soon after, Ryan joined her!

I love it.

Martin House

The weather was beautiful the weekend after Thanksgiving so we met friends at Martin House Brewery and soaked up some sun and beer!

Thanksgiving 2017

We hosted Thanksgiving this year and it went off without a hitch. Chris fried and smoked turkeys this year and they were delicious! We had a great day and I was having so much fun that I failed to take many pictures.  We ate, played corn hole, watched football and relaxed!

FW Zoo with Mrs. Hoelscher

Ryan and Emma finally got to cash in their zoo trip with Mrs. Hoelscher that they won last year at the silent auction.  They were so happy to see her and spend the morning with her at the zoo.  We LOVE Mrs. Hoelscher!

GP Sneak a Peek 5K!

We had a great time doing the Grand Prairie Sneak-a-Peek 5K with the Jacksons.  Poor Polly had a bad ear ache and could not hang in the cool air so Chris had to bail out early to get her home. The big girls did good on the 3 miles and we enjoyed all the lights, and especially the hot chocolate afterwards!

Ryan's Last Cheer Game

Ryan just wrapped up her second (and most likely final) season of cheer leading. She had a fun time with her friends, but has decided that she doesn't really love practicing and finds the uniform super scratchy! So, I tried to take some good pictures of her at the Highlanders playoff game.
