Ryan's Birthday Slumber Party!

Ryan requested a swimming slumber party with a unicorn cake for her 9th birthday party, so that is just what we had. I let her invite 10 friends to spend the night and then we invited 8 more friends to join us for the swim portion of the party. Ryan had a great time and it was an easy and fun group of girls that spent the night. They all slept in the living room and were asleep by 1:00 a.m. and slept until I woke them at 9 a.m. with donuts!

Ryan's Family Bday Dinner

Ryan is a creature of habit, just like her momma, so she chose Grease Monkey again for her family birthday dinner.  We had a great time and it was a treat to have her cousins in from Hawaii!  I can't believe I am about to have a NINE year old!!!!

We had trouble getting all girls to look at camera and smile.
This was best we got.

My birthday girl just loves pictures! LOL

Ryan took a picture of me with Mom.

Ryan wanted a picture with Aunt Krishia to see how tall she is.

Sweet sisters

We went to dinner and the Levitt
with the Jacksons the next night.

The kids had fun riding in the back of Josh's new truck
from Gilligans to Levitt- a whole .5 miles!

50 Days in

I started a 100 day run challenge and am on day 50!
I have never run this much in the heat of the summer, but I am loving the challenge!

Party Girl

Emma got invited to a swim party at BK pool, and her sisters got invited to come too.  It is a fun city pool with slides and a diving board.  The girls had a blast and everyone was in amazement of Polly jumping off the diving board by herself (no floaties or goggles allowed) and swimming to the edge in the 12 foot end of the pool.  She had a blast and loved being at a party with big kids.

Hawaiian Falls with Friends

After a hot and fun day at the water park we enjoyed the watermelon
ice cream cake that Mamaw and the girls made.

Ryan Goes to GCC Camp

Ryan had such a great time last summer at overnight church camp that she asked to go again.  This time her friend Jenna was going as a first timer and Ryan was the pro.  They got to be room mates so I was excited for Ryan to have a close friend with her.  We all saw her off and greeted her on her return. We have no contact while she is there so it is a long 4 days of missing her, but she had a great time and we are glad to have her back!  Next year Emma will get to go if she wants to.

Polly saying bye to Sissy.

No one misses Ryan more than Emma.

Grandpa, the girls and I waving bye to Ryan as the bus pulled away.
Emma started crying, worrying about Ryan because she was sitting alone on the bus.

I took the other two to Creative Hands, just like I took Emma last summer.
This time PJ was old enough to paint.

Counselors who are my friends sent me a few pictures of Ryan.

Glad to have her back!  Braums to celebrate!
