Moms day!

Elise hosted a "Moms only" swim day at her house. It was so much fun! Thanks to Pa and Mamaw for keeping  my girls so I could go.

My Shadow

I had to go to the ortho doc to get an injection for my knee. Emma had the choice to stay at home and play and go to the park or come with me.  She chose to come with me.  She dressed herself for the occasion! She was actually really fun to hang out with while I waited,  She spoke to all the other people waiting (they adored her), we colored and practiced writing the alphabet, and we had a mini anatomy lesson in the exam room. I was glad to have her with me!

Lazy Wednesday morning

My big girls were at a sleepover and Chris was at work, so PJ and I snuggled in bed all morning.  I drank coffee, read, and stared at my precious girl

Sleepover with their Best Buds!

Kellie and Brad are saints! They invited our big girls to spend the night.  They had a blast!  We love the Tharps!
Kellie sent me pics of the cuties.
Asleep by 10 p.m.!
I got to go on a quick dinner date with this guy!

Swim Lessons

The girls had another great week of lessons with Miss Suzy.  We debated not signing them up since they can swim so well, but decided to go ahead with the lessons.  They got to learn strokes this year and did really well.  Emma is a speedy fish, even being the youngest by a year she was the fastest! Miss Suzy also took some cool underwater pictures of the girls. It feels so good to have waterproof kids!
Ready for the week!

Beckett and Britton were in their class again, so it was lots of fun!

First Day Back

I made it through my first day back at work.  Chris was home with all three kids and he also survived.  I missed my girls like crazy.  It felt so good to get home and snuggle.

Thigh Rolls

Our little PJ is getting some thigh chub!

Great grandparents

We got to run up to Ada, Oklahoma to visit the girls only living great grandparents.  We had a wonderful visit and the girls really enjoyed their time there.
Polly on her first road trip.
We stopped once to nurse and eat and she did great on the 3.5 hour drive.
PJ liked snuggling with her Great Gramma Glenna

Emma and Glenna had a great conversation on the swing.
Emma asked her why she was so little!

Heaven

She did it!  She slept 8 hours in a row last night!  And the best part- I slept 7 of them! Such a good baby.
She is so perfect! I love admiring her while she sleeps.  Holding her (and sleeping 7 hours) feels like heaven.

Polly's first dip!

She was a little chilly and therefor not too thrilled.

Attached to my hip!

Emma is under my foot all day!  She wants to be with me all of the time. I think she was traumatized when I was re-admitted to the hospital and now she doesn't believe me when I say I will be right back.  She has complete meltdowns when I have to leave her even if it is just for one hour.  She cries, tries to hold onto me and chases my car.  It is gut wrenching and not her normal behavior!  When given the choice to go get ice cream with her dad or take a nap with me she will choose a nap!  Ha! She insists on going grocery shopping with me (no peaceful roaming of Target fro me!), and can't even let me bathe alone. It is pretty sweet (and exhausting).  Chris keeps reminding me to enjoy it because it won't last forever.  I think he is looking forward to being the favorite again soon!

Polly is 2 months!

PJ's 2 month stats!
Weight: 10.6 pounds!!!! (50th percentile)
Length: 23 inches long (75th percentile)
Hair: dark, most of it is on the back although she has a couple long pieces on top. She also has a mean swirl (future cowlick) in the front! We think it is starting to come in more.
Eyes: Blue
Eating: Polly eats every 3 hours during the day, usually her first nursing session of the day happens between 7-8, then every 3 hours until her bedtime at 8.  Then, I wake her up at 10 for one last feeding and she will then go 5-6 hours.  I have a feeling in the next 2 weeks she will go 8 hours. We have been following Baby Wise just as we did with R & E.
Sleeping: Polly still naps between almost all of her feedings.  We have awake/play time after she eats for an hour and then we put her down for a nap for 2 hours before she is due to eat again. She is most alert and smiley in the morning and takes her longest naps between 10-12 and 2-4, these will eventually be her two designated nap times once she gets a little older.  She naps on her tummy and is put to bed on her back and swaddled at night.  She is put in her crib awake and is able to put herself to sleep.  Thank you again, Baby Wise!
Size: She can still fit into a few of her newborn outfits (crazy!) but is mostly in 0-3 month size clothes.  Her feet and her long legs make her too big for footed newborn outfits and most newborn pants.  She is so long and lean! She is wearing size 1 diapers now.
Likes: ME!!!!  She is a momma's girl for sure (the milk wagon), she is also crazy about her sisters and loves to watch them, she loves her paci and to lay on her tummy to sleep, she loves baths and being outside. She likes to snuggle and to be held.
New Accomplishments: smiles!, cooing, tracking, holding her head up, she has taken 6 bottles (Gran, Chris, Mamaw and myself have all given her breast milk bottles to prepare for my return to work).

We love this little girl so much!
Photo shoots are so fun!

Not a happy camper after shots.

Sweet girls love their daddy.

My big girls are such good helpers!
