NYE 2014

The Tharps had us over for a nice relaxing NYE dinner and celebration. Our kids love each other so much so they were in heaven.  We ate, relaxed and played some games and we lasted until 9:30 p.m.! I am working 6 days this week and have been very worn down so I was proud of myself for making it until then.  Happy New Years!  2015 looks to be an exciting year for our family!
Adorable hats and jackets from Gran and PawPaw

Big 'ol Belly

My belly is getting awfully round, even when I am horizontal! 15 weeks to go!

Why I keep a blog

I print books every year of my blog and the girls are really starting to enjoy them.  I have quite the collection after 5 years of blogging, most years require two books. I take the time to record all of these precious moments so the girls will have them recorded forever. Makes me smile listening to them relive memories.

Grandpa is so funny!

The girls are so crazy about my dad.  He is hands down the best Pa there ever was.

Bunny's Bed

Ryan (along with lots of help from Mamaw) sewed Bunny a bed.  She looks pleased with herself and Bunny looks comfy!

Emma's sign

Emma retaliated and made her own sign! She told me it means "No Ryan's Allowed!"

Ryan's sign

Ryan made this sign and stood it up outside her door.  She told me it means "No Emma's Allowed!"

Christmas 2009

Christmas 2014

We had a wonderful Christmas.  Our best one yet!  The girls are at such a fun age for holidays. We celebrated Christmas Eve with the Cox clan at Mamaw and Pa's and had Christmas Eve dinner with the Tharps. We did all of our Christmas Eve traditions before bed and the girls went right to sleep. They even slept in until 7:30!  I was wide awake in bed waiting for them to wake up. We did all of our normal family traditions at home that morning  and then had the Ivie clan over in the afternoon and had a family Christmas dinner at our house.  Our opening presents took a little over 2 hours Christmas morning since we take turns and go one at a time. The girls did great and were so patient and polite and very thankful for all that they got. It was so fun and I was so proud of them.  We all were spoiled by Santa and family and friends.  It was a great holiday.  It is crazy to think we will have an extra family member next year!
Santa's snacks all ready and we
sprinkled the reindeer food in the front yard!
Oops! Santa's cookies and the reindeers carrots spilled!
Lots of presents!
Emma was a good girl!
So was Ryan!

Such sweet, sweet girls!

Chris bought and wrapped this sweet rattle for Polly!

Happy day!
Chris gave me these awesome metal photos to hang on the wall.
We will need to add a Polly row next year!
Ryan loved her new desk.

Playing games while Pa, Chris and Papa set up the trampoline out back!
The girls were so excited that Mamaw and Pa got them a tramp!

I got a Christmas manicure from Pea

The morning after Christmas Emma woke up and immediately asked
to go jump on the "jump-a-ring". She ate breakfast and dinner on the trampoline and
logged about 6 hours!

She also did a lot of fishing with her new fishing pole!
