Bedtime Fun!

Christmas pajamas in July! Love these three girls so much.  Post bath bedtime tickles and snuggles are the best! Polly loves that she can totally be in the mix now.  It is a hoot!

LICE

I can no longer boast that I have 3 girls and we have never had lice.  Ugh!  The worst.  Thank you, overnight church camp...... And, of course I discovered it on a shift night, at 9 pm, and following a sleepover, and the pass around the Emoji hat that happened at the party. Sigh
Mamaw came over and brought the treatment and we treated all of us (minus Polly who was asleep) just to be safe. Chris helped me with treatments #2 and 3 and the endless combing out of Ryan's hair.  I did 12 loads of laundry and bagged up countless pillows and stuffed animals. I do not wish this on anyone.
Poor Ryan, passing time during the 3rd treatment.

Ryan's Emoji Birthday Party

What a fun day we had celebrating Ryan's 8th birthday.  Mamaw and Pa let us host at their pool again and we had a great turn out.  Ryan had a blast.

Another fabulous cake creation by Aunt Rocks!

8 Year Letters to Ryan

Dear Ryan,

8!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is unbelievable to me that you are 8!  Seven was a great year for you.  Your confidence and maturity blossomed.  You had a great second grade experience (thank goodness) and started to love school again. You really enjoyed cheer leading and piano.  You are so smart and always interested in facts.  How old is she?  When was that made? What is that made of?  When was he born?  When was that invented?  Lots of questions and we love your thirst for knowledge. You enjoy history and reading, but you also still love Barbies and make believe. We love you so much and can't wait to see what age 8 has in store for you.  Your sisters adore you and continue to look up to you.  Go make 8 great!  Love you, big girl!

Love,
Mommy

Dear 8 year old,

Ryan, I am so proud to be your Dad. Happy Birthday!!! 8 years has flown by!! Every day I thank God that you made me a parent. I am constantly amazed by you and how "grown up" you're becoming. Please don't grow up too fast!!! You'll always be my first little girl!! I love you.

Ryan is EIGHT!

It is so hard to believe that our first baby is 8!  We are so proud of the young lady she is becoming and we are so excited to see how GREAT Ryan is at EIGHT! We celebrated at home with donuts and gifts and then we went to Hawaiian Falls with the Tharps.  Ryan had a fantastic day!
