Destin

We decided to be brave and take on the 11 hour drive to a pretty beach this summer.  The Tharps invited us to join them in Destin, Florida. We planned the trip while I was pregnant and praying for an easy going baby to make the drive bearable.  Well, that is just what I got- Polly is a trooper on road trips!  She hardly made a peep! We broke the drive in half and got up at 3 a.m. and drove to Vicksburg, Mississippi and spent the day swimming and relaxing.  We went to bed early and then got up in the middle of the night to drive the last leg to the beach.  We arrived in Rosemary Beach early Saturday morning and met the Crowley family for breakfast at the Donut Hole.  Then, we spent some time at their beach house and got to checkout Rosemary Beach with them.  Then, we headed  to our beach house at Miramar Beach.  The Tharps arrived and we started our week together at the beach!  We had an awesome house right on the beach and had so much fun playing in the awesome sand and clear turquoise waters.  We crab hunted, flew kites, cooked and ate lots of yummy meals, played lots of Beersbee and sand volleyball, napped on the beach, read lots of books, boogie boarded, built sandcastles and mermaid tails, ate ice cream, played board games, enjoyed each other laughed a lot and made priceless memories!  I took quite a few pictures of our wonderful vacation!

There were blue jellyfish that would wash up during the small thunderstorms.
More napping.

Lots of fun was had on this boat!
