Ryan's First Cotillion

I still can't believe Ryan is in her last year of elementary school!  With that comes Cotillion!  It is an Arlington thing to do 6th grade Cotillion and Ryan has been looking forward to it.  It looks a little different this year, thanks to Covid, but Ryan still wanted to participate. Throughout the school year there will be 7 dances.  At these dances the kids are taught manners/etiquette and different dances. It really is a cute idea and a right of passage.
Ryan and I had fun dress shopping and Stella offered to do her hair and makeup.  Ryan was thrilled to have the help and Stella did such a good job.  Ryan had a great time and is excited for the next one!

I never could have done this!

Chris was on shift, but his station is right across the street
from Miss Persis Dance Studio.

Parents and siblings went to Taco Cartel while the kids were at Cotillion.
I ran into a few AFD guys!

After Cotillion,
all smiles!
