Disney!

We had an absolute blast in Disneyland. Our time spent there was jam packed with fun. The girls loved every second and so did we!  It was really fun to turn 9 in Disneyland.  We stayed at the Grand Californian, which was very nice and so convenient because we could walk out our hotel and right into the park.  We took advantage of the fast passes and barely had to wait in lines. There were so many good rides.  A few of our favorites were: Radiator Springs Racer, Toy Story, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Soaring over California and It's A Small World (classic). The girls loved it and it was hard to not get emotional watching their sweet faces take it all in. We loved the shows- World of Color and the parade and fireworks were fantastic! We accidentally took the girls on the Hollywood Tower of Terror- that was so scary! Ryan may be traumatized by that forever. The girls met many princesses, got lots of autographs, danced in the streets and were all smiles. We got to swim a lot at our hotel and the girls had a blast on the water slide.  It was quite a trip!  We look forward to coming back in 5 years with all 3 girls.
Up at 5 a.m. to catch the 7:00 flight to Disney!

Emma went straight for the slide!

Relaxing while mom and dad have a drink and unwind!

Waiting in line to get on their first Disney ride- the Cars ride Radiator Springs Racer!
We got to enjoy "The Magic Hour" this morning, it was so nice!

The Ivies (minus PJ)  do Disney!

This is an elevator that basically drops out of the sky free falling.
This scared the heck out of the kids- and me!
Ryan and I relaxed while Daddy and Emma did the ferris wheel.
Happy birthday to me!
She is getting so big!

More princesses~

We decided to get the girls caricatures drawn, my dad always got mine done and I love them! They turned out super cute.

Meanwhile in Arilngton, poor Polly came down with the flu and a double ear infection.  Thank goodness we left her in the best care of Mamaw and Pa.  They didn't sleep much but they took great care of our baby who ran 104 fevers and felt terrible.  It was hard to be away having fun while Polly was sick, but my parents kept us updated and gave Polly lots of TLC!

Polly at the doctor.
My least favorite ride- the teacups!

These two loved it.
The parade was hands down the best I have ever seen.
Can't wait to go back!
Soaking up the last few Cali rays before we fly home.

Happy PJ was happy to see us and we missed her so much!
