Ryan is officially Potty Trained!

I think a week without accidents makes it "official"! So proud of my girl! I planned on potty training her this summer, but she proved to be ready now. And, it wasn't that hard. We don't even have to do the annoying routine of setting her on the potty every 3o minutes. She just tells us when she has to go. She has proven to be reliable at home, church, school, Kids Club, the fire station, you name it! No accidents! She loves her panties and is still very proud of herself that she has mastered this big girl skill. We still have some work to do in the #2 department. Ry sleeps in a diaper and naps in a pull up and that is usually when she does her #2 business. Mamaw has promised Ryan a trip to ride the horsie again when she poops in the potty. We talk about it daily. No action yet.
Not even two and a half and she has taken on a lot of big girl skills. She wakes up from her nap takes of her pull up (which is often dry) and puts her panties and her penny shoes on by herself. Ryan loves all of her social interactions (preschool, Sunday school, kids club). When I pick her up from school she is able to tell me about her day. How many 2 year olds can do that? She will tell me what she learned about, what she did in art/music/PE and the low down on other kids. She was talking a lot about time out last week and I had Chris ask her teachers if she had been misbehaving. We were happy to learn that Ryan has not had to go to time out and that she is one of the best listeners. We also learned that she is very intrigued when the "bad" boys don't listen and have to go to timeout. Intrigued by the bad boys. Hope it is just a phase.
We are so proud of our big girl! She does so many funny things and says things you would never imagine an almost two and a half year old would say. Munch is a one of a kind!

I got her some new princess shoes, a crown and a wand for her potty success!

She was admiring herself in my mirror.

Love the dress tucked into the panties look!

"cheese!"

So fancy!

Notice the owie (probably from her too small penny shoes)

She is getting good with her utensils.

Sometimes.

She seems to survive on next to nothing these days so I am happy to see her shoveling food into her mouth with a fork, spoon, or hand!
