Sunday Fun Day!

Finally, we have a back yard that can warrant a good Sunday Fun Day at our house!  We decided to have a Sunday afternoon BBQ in our back yard while the weather is nice, but not too hot.  Chris BBQ'ed a TON of delicious chicken and we ate and watched the kids splash and play all afternoon.  We also went on many paddle boat rides- the kids (especially Emma) loved it!  We had a good turn out, with LOTS of kids.  One of our good buddies, Mike (single, no kids), showed up and said "Holy cow!  Are y'all running a day care?  I feel like I need to go rent a couple kids to be here!" We let him stay. I let him borrow Ryan and Emma for a bit :-)

Getting ready for the kids!

A view  from our back yard.

Happy Momma!  Excited for all the kids to get here!

My last few minutes of calm before the storm.  Both Munch and Pea were still napping.

Emma wasted no time trying to drain the kiddie pool with her mouth.

She got soaked!

Munching on sidewalk chalk.

Anxiously awaiting her friends arrival so she can take the (paddle) boat out!

Ash and Knox
He won best belly!

Jill and sweet little Bennett

Katie (the Hackbarts version of Emma, plus hair!)

Following Katie's lead, Emma hit the snacks first.

Ry was a little shy when she finally woke up from her nap to find all of her friends here!

Lilly and Knox were first to hit the pool!

Stetson came!

Katie loved Toot

Ryan and Daddy took the boat out first.

The Tharp family!

Love this lil guy!

Slide into the pool= BRILLIANT!

Brynn was not a fan of the boat ride!

Emma was dipping her hand and sucking the water off as fast as she could!

She got ticked off if I even tried to hang on to her, so I let her go!
She was a happy camper as long as she could shovel water into her mouth.

Silly Lilly

Beckett pushing Brynn

Britton, Beckett, Ryan and Brynn have grown up together.
I remember when they were all little bitty.

Lesli and Mike, enjoying their beers without a care in the world!

Ben and Chris

As you can see, I have only one brave daughter.

My favorite picture of the day.

Watching this crew paddle around was when I laughed the hardest!
Emma could not be contained!

Chris had to put her on his shoulders to keep her in the boat while he paddled!

She was super ticked!

I feel like I barely saw Chris at all!  We had a good time entertaining though,
really the kids entertained us all!

Jes and Les

There were goldfish in all kinds of places!

Very tired girl, still partying after her friends left.

Bedtime!
